ABOUT EPCALM

 

The EPCALM Adult Leukemia Foundation of the Philippines, Inc. (EPCALM) is a Christ-centered, non-stock, non-profit organization registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). It is the first organization in the Philippines dedicated to providing personalized, practical, and family-oriented support programs and services for adult leukemia patients and their families.

 

EPCALM is named in memory of Atty. Erwin Piedad Cabanag, a former City Fiscal of Dumaguete in Negros Oriental, who passed away from leukemia on May 12, 2005, at the age of 45. The foundation's overarching mission is to embody God's love and faithfulness, nurturing patients spiritually, emotionally, and physically toward wholeness.

Through a team of registered social workers, staff, and trained volunteers, the EPCALM Foundation promotes holistic care through its Spiritual, Medical, and Financial service arms, supporting patients throughout their leukemia journey.

To be recognized as a center through which adult leukemia patients and their families can find spiritual, physical and emotional nourishment as they journey toward wholeness.

Mission

 

Acknowledging that God is the Hope, the Healer, and the Provider, EPCALM aims to be a vehicle through which patients afflicted with leukemia will experience God’s love and faithfulness.
