In line with the Spiritual Care Service Arm of EPCALM, a “family church” Bible fellowship is being conducted every Friday at 7:30 p.m., to enrich the spiritual growth, and help in the faith journey of serviced patients, their families, as well as supporters, partners, and volunteers.
In 2022, the Gospel of John, the fourth of the four canonical gospels, was studied, led by clergymen and volunteer lay leaders who explained and gave their insights to this New Testament book, which contains a highly schematic account of the ministry of Jesus Christ.
Among the Bible Study leaders were: Dr. Edward Benjie Magsombol, Dr. Malou Bunyi, Dr. Jocelyn Del Mundo, Cornel Bongco, Mary Ann Ojeda, Pastor Fernan Agustin, Dr. Vicky Ang, Rita Gonzalez, Kuh Ledesma, Rev. Carlos Dela Cruz, Rev. Dante Malla, Fr. Percival Tayem (OFM), Dr. Shirley Gorospe, Israel Bombasi, and BJ Manalo.
The importance of studying God’s Word is transformational. It follows Jesus’ example; directs us in wisdom; it creates meaningful connections; provides necessary encouragement; keeps us accountable; and transforms our families, workplaces and communities.
For the first part of 2023, the Gospel of Matthew will be the focus of the weekly Bible Fellowship. You are most welcome to join us. Send us a quick message through the chatbox of the EPCALM website, and we will provide you with the Zoom link. We hope to see you soon.
