Cancer remains a national health priority in the Philippines, with significant implications for individuals, families, communities, and the health system in general.
According to latest global studies (Globocan 2020 Report*), leukemia is the fifth leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the Philippines, and the ninth most common cancer type, with more than 5,700 new cases recorded in 2020. At present, government and private health care providers exclude leukemia from their coverage, largely because of the high cost of care, with no guarantee for cure.
Our patients, and their families, need your help. You can do your part to help save a life. How? Be an EPCALM Donor, and you can significantly contribute to their recovery.
No amount is too small or too big. Your personal donation will go a long way to help fund the programs and services offered by EPCALM, including the purchase of life-saving chemotherapy drugs and maintenance medicines.
EPCALM receives requests for assistance from leukemia patients all over the country, and even overseas, every single day. The EPCALM Hope Fund is all about helping our brothers and sisters in need. You can make a difference in the lives of our serviced adult leukemia patients and their families as they struggle through life’s challenges amid these difficult times.
Experience the blessing and joy of giving as we reach out to our needy brethren. Through your genuine act of kindness, we can provide them much needed financial resources, in their journey toward wholeness, and for them to start rebuilding their lives.
