‘Hope Packs’ distributed to patients, families

Two of our serviced patients receive their Hope Pack

At the height of the pandemic in 2020, when mobility was limited because of a government-imposed nationwide lockdown, EPCALM distributed Hope Packs to the homes of serviced patients and their families. These packs contained basic commodities such as rice, easy-open canned goods, other basic commodities, as well as hygiene essentials, including face masks and alcohol, and vitamins. This was a purposive move to assist the patients in their domestic needs, in light of the pandemic.

The distribution of the Hope Packs continued even when government eased mandatory lockdown last year. Last October 2022, a total of 43 patients received Hope Packs, while 51 packs were distributed in December 2022.

Donations from partners and supporters made the Hope Pack distribution possible. We would like to thank the following sponsors for their generous donations: Connie Ancheta, Jaime and Annie So, Corbridge Group Philippines, Bandwell Pharma, Manjaru Outdoors, Countrylab PH, LeGARDE, SM Foundation, and June Concepcion.
