The leukemia journey of Gliceria “Shirley” C. Budiongan, 54, began when she was diagnosed with chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML). As she struggled to cope with her illness, she contracted COVID-19 during the height of the pandemic.


Shirley finds strength in the unwavering support of her family and friends, staying resolute in the face of financial difficulties. Her story is a testament to a mother’s resilience – her enduring resolve driven by love for her family.
