The EPCALM Adult Leukemia Foundation of the Philippines, which aims to provide personalized, practical and family-oriented support for patients journeying through leukemia, acknowledges that grief is a universal experience. Recognizing the need to deepen both the understanding and management of grief across various sectors of society, EPCALM has designed a comprehensive, yet focused seminar—“Understanding Grief: The Healing Journey (A Grief Management Conference).
This seminar is scheduled on 10-11 May 2013 at the Henry Sy Sr. Auditorium, 5/F Main Hospital Building, St. Luke’s Medical Center, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City. Seminar modules have been carefully designed for a wide variety of people and situations through plenary, interactive and breakout sessions to ensure that the experience generated would be relevant for each participant.
Ms. Mary Ellen Erickson, Managing Director and Co-Founder of GriefWorks, a U.S.-based bereavement resource for education and support, is the main Curriculum Director and Resource Person/ Speaker.
At the same time, Mr. Boy Abunda, award-winning television host, publicist, talent manager and celebrity endorser, will be our guest speaker, to complement Ms. Erickson and other equally gifted facilitators.
We want you to partner with us to make this undertaking a success. The seminar fee is only P2,500.00 per person. Please see Registration Guidelines at the exclusive EPCALM Grief website above.
